12 APRIL 2025— KARO GLAZER, The Lady Dynamite, called “a true singing asset and the best Poland has to offer” is an artist with 4-octave expressive voice and endless musical imagination, whose talent was appreciated by Tom Waits and members of Coldplay during International Songwriting Competition, shares the first independent, hotly anticipated solo album “#LadyDynamite”.
"#LadyDynamite" – the latest album by KARO GLAZER is a fully original work, written, composed, arranged, and produced by the artist herself. "#LadyDynamite" is both a symphony of untamed sounds—wild, daring, and rich in extraordinary arrangements—as well as a celebration of classical beauty through the synergy of genres. It is a return to roots, yet at the same time, a fresh artistic concept, where one can hear the polyphony of diverse influences. The album clearly reflects both European and American musical traditions, illustrating how these two worlds continuously inspire each other in KARO GLAZER's work. One cannot exist without the other. They are two opposing forces constantly clashing, making it difficult to classify this album—or KARO's entire body of work—into a single category. Each track stands out on its own, yet together, they form a cohesive story. "For me, #LadyDynamite is an album about freedom and self-love. It carries a deep sense of defiance against the things that surround and destroy us. It was born from my pain, anger, and helplessness. There is rage here, a loud 'NO,' but also love and hope—a flood of extreme emotions that consumed me. #LadyDynamite was created in a difficult and dark moment of my life, shortly after awakening from a years-long lethargy in which I had unknowingly been trapped in psychological abuse. Working on these songs helped me understand who I am and reclaim my power. I felt that I could do anything! That I am the master of my own life and that I have the right to reach for every dream I have! Without #LadyDynamite, the real me wouldn’t exist today. Karo Glazer is referred to as one of the most original vocal artists of recent years, called "a true singing asset and the best Poland has to offer.” She is an artists with 4-octave expressive voice and endless musical imagination, whose talent was ap- preciated by Tom Waits and members of Coldplay during International Songwriting Competition. She is a singer, composer, arranger, songwriter and music producer all at the same time. Glazer also wrote music for theatre plays and ballet. She has worked on international music projects from Los Angeles, throw London to Munich. She is an author of over 300 compositions. Throughout her career she"s played and recorded with both jazz and rock musicians i.e Lars Danielsson, Mike Stern, John Taylor, Klaus Doldinger, Joo Kraus and multiple Grammy-winning producers Martin Walters (Esperanza Spalding, Spyro Gyra, Dianne Reeves) and Flemming Ras- mussen (Metallica, Rainbow, Mr Big). After the premiere of her debut album “Nor- mal” released by German label JARO Medien, her name was mentioned by Der Spiegel and her concerts were covered by TV stations such as: Deutsche Welle and NDR. Concert venues were filled to capacity during her appearances on: Open’er Festival and Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival. She supported the concerts of such stars as Gotan Project, Marcus Miller and James Carter. She performed in Europe, Asia and USA.
